We begin our look at swimwear for women with the bikini. The bikini is perhaps the most worn of all swimwear for women and why not since it offers minimum coverage thus giving maximum exposure. Bikinis come in all sorts of different styles. The tops can be underwired to give support ot just triangular shaped covering up the breast. The bottoms also can be in styles ranging from the g-string to the James Bond style shorty.

To some women the wearing of a bikini would expose too many lumps and bumps around the midrift area, thus for these there are control swimsuits that offer support and can give a toned appearance.

Swimwear is not always for swimming, that said however there are sporting swimsuits that are specifically designed for those wishing to swim rather than top up the tan on holiday.
